Listen to the following conversation between Anne Turner and Linda.

Exercise 6: Softening Commands
Exercise 6. In the Philippines it’s perfectly alright to give an order to your household help.
But if you feel uncomfortable giving a direct order you can always soften it by the tone of your voice or by adding “nga” (please).
Let’s practice the two ways to telling your housegirl or houseboy to do something.
